Barnet Homes

You should contact Barnet Homes in the first instance if you are experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness.

You can apply for council housing through Barnet Homes who manages housing allocations on the Council's behalf.

Barnet Homes now run an appointment-only service. You can ‘drop in’ to Barnet House if you are homeless on the day. People at risk of becoming homeless must contact Barnet Homes as soon as possible on 0208 359 4797 or visit https://thebarnetgroup.org/bh/applying-for-housing/help-with-housing-problems/how-we-help/ for information and advice.


Street link

If you are experiencing homelessness or worried about a person experiencing homelessness:

• If you are sleeping rough you can contact Street Link on 0300 500 0914 or visit https://www.streetlink.org.uk/. Street Link will connect you to local services, which will be able to help you.

• You can also contact Street Link if you are a member of the public who is worried about somebody who is sleeping rough.


People experiencing or at risk of abuse

If you can’t stay in your home because of violence, threats or any other abuse you can apply for help from Barnet council. You can also get help from:
